Doras is a multi-disciplinary artist, illustrator, muralist, and director based in Montréal, QC. He has been working as a commercial and fine artist for a decade and painting murals since 2017. His work is rendered in a style that focuses heavily on scale, contour, and colour relationships.
His love of precious objects and dream logic is prevalent in his images, where he often mixes historical ornament and iconography with the language of contemporary fantasy. His large-scale pieces draw from his background in illustration, featuring objects, scenes, and characters that might easily have been ripped from the pages of a book.
