A mural commissioned by Dare to Care Records to promote the artist Coeur de Pirate’s 2018 album “En Cas de Tempête, Ce Jardin Sera Fermé. (In case of a storm, this garden will be closed.)”
The album explores themes of toxicity in relationships and what it takes to leave and heal from an unhealthy break. I wanted the piece to reflect a moment of strength in isolation. In spite of the forces around us, we have the ability to form and defend our own oases.
